NUST Admissions 2026 – NET Series 4 Registration, Eligibility Criteria & ACT/SAT Details

National University of Sciences and Technology has officially announced important updates regarding undergraduate admissions and NET-2026 (Series-4). Students interested in Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business, Social Sciences, and other degree programs can now apply online before the closing date.

Candidates are advised to carefully read the eligibility criteria, NET schedule, ACT/SAT requirements, and special instructions for Pre-Medical students.

Important Update for FSc Pre-Medical Students

According to PEC regulations, Pre-Medical students applying for Engineering programs without Additional Mathematics must complete an online mandatory Mathematics course.

Course Details:

  • Duration: 8 Weeks
  • Mode: Online Self-Paced
  • Passing Marks: 60%
  • Completion Deadline: 15 July 2026

Mathematics Course Registration:

NUST Online Mathematics Course

Students applying under this category will appear in NET Engineering.


Eligibility for Computing Programmes

Candidates having HSSC with Mathematics as a major subject can apply for:

  • BS Computer Science
  • BS Artificial Intelligence
  • BS Data Science
  • BS Bioinformatics

Pre-Medical students admitted in Computing programs without Additional Mathematics will have to complete deficiency courses of 6 credit hours within one year.


Engineering Admissions for ICS Students

Students with the combination of:

  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Computer Science / Computer Studies (ICS)

are eligible to apply in all Engineering programs. However, they must clear Chemistry as a remedial course during the first semester after admission.


ACT / SAT Based Admissions 2026

Engineering Programmes

Minimum ACT Composite Score required:

  • 25 Marks

For ACT exams after April 2025:

  • Maths, English & Reading Composite: 25
  • Science Portion: 25

Computing & Science Programmes

Applicable for:

  • BS Biotechnology
  • BS Food Science & Technology
  • BS Agriculture
  • BS Environmental Science
  • Architecture & Industrial Design
  • Natural Sciences

Required ACT STEM Score:

  • Minimum 25

Business Studies / Social Sciences / LLB

SAT Requirement:

  • Minimum 550 Marks in each subject

OR

ACT Requirement:

  • Minimum 25 in each section

📌 ACT/SAT scores remain valid for 2 years.
📌 ACT Superscore is acceptable.


IBCC Attestation Requirement

As per HEC directives, all students including Matric, FA, and FSc stream candidates must get their educational documents attested from IBCC before submitting them to the university during admission.

International / Non-Pakistani students can also apply through:
